The Coanda effect, an aerodynamic phenomenon, is utilized by the Dyson AirwrapTM multi-styler. Air is used to draw and wrap hair around the brush's barrel or surface. Extreme temperatures are used in styling equipment to reset and break hair bonding.
The Dyson digital motor V9
The 13-blade impeller produces 3.2kPa while rotating at up to 110,000rpm. Strong enough to provide the air pressure necessary to cause the Coanda effect.
